Writing an 'about' that earns trust

Your about section isn't a résumé. It's the thirty seconds where a stranger decides whether you're worth buying from.

A hand writing with a pen over papers

The 'about' is where visitors go when they're deciding whether to trust you, and most creators fill it with a list of credentials nobody asked for. It reads as a CV and connects with no one.

Make it about them, then you

Open with who you help and how their life is different afterwards. Then, briefly, why you're the person to do it. The reader cares about their own problem first; your story matters only as evidence you can solve it.

Sound like a human

Write it the way you'd introduce yourself to someone at an event — warm, specific, a little personal. A stiff corporate paragraph builds less trust than three honest sentences.
