The point of a booking form is that the customer never asks are you free. So show real availability and nothing else. A slot that appears bookable but is not is worse than no form at all.
Buffer time between jobs, a cut-off so nobody books for ten minutes from now, and a daily limit keep the calendar honest.

A free booking is easy to forget. Asking for a deposit — or the full amount — at the point of booking turns a maybe into a commitment and covers you when someone vanishes.
- Take a deposit for higher-value or first-time bookings.
- Send a confirmation the moment it is booked.
- Follow up with a reminder before the appointment.
