Mobile-first, or you lose half your buyers

Most of your visitors arrive on a phone. If your page was designed on a laptop, half your audience is seeing a worse version.

A smartphone lying on a white desk

The majority of people who reach your page do it on a phone, often more than two in three. Yet most pages are built and admired on a big laptop screen, where everything looks fine — and then quietly falls apart on the device most people actually use.

Design where they are

  • Check every page on your phone before you call it done — that's the real version.
  • Make buttons big enough for a thumb and text large enough to read without zoom.
  • Keep forms short; typing on a phone is where long forms go to die.

Fast matters more on mobile

Phones are often on slower connections and shorter patience. A page that takes its time loading loses mobile visitors fastest. Light and quick beats rich and slow, every time.
