OneSol Send · Free file sharing
Send large files with a link
Upload up to 5 GB, get one short link and send it anywhere. Whoever opens it can download — no account, no app. Files delete themselves after 3 days.
Sign in to send files
Sending is free with a OneSol account. The people you send to don’t need one — they just open the link.
How it works
- 1
Add your files
Drop in up to 20 files — 5 GB in total.
- 2
Get a link
They upload straight to OneSol and you get one short link for all of them.
- 3
Send it anywhere
WhatsApp, email, a DM. Whoever opens it downloads — no account needed.
Built to move files quickly
Many pieces at once
Each file is cut into pieces of up to 8 MB (smaller for small files, so even a few megabytes use every stream) and up to 12 go up at once. The uploader adds more while your connection has room and eases off when it doesn't.
A dropped piece doesn't start you over
If the network blinks, only the piece that failed is sent again — not the whole file.
Gone after 3 days
The link and every file are deleted from our server 3 days after the upload finishes. Nothing lingers.
No account to download
The person you send to just opens the link. No sign-up, no app, no waiting for an email.
Which way to send a big file?
Each has its place. A link is the easy answer when the file is too big to attach or the other person isn’t on the same app as you.
| Option | How much | How long | The receiver needs |
|---|---|---|---|
| OneSol Send | 5 GB per transfer | 3 days | Nothing — just the link |
| WeTransfer (free) | 3 GB across 10 transfers per 30 days | Up to 3 days | Nothing — just the link |
| Gmail attachment | 25 MB per email (bigger becomes a Drive link) | As long as the email | An email inbox |
| 2 GB as a document; videos 64–100 MB | As long as the chat |
Other services’ limits are from their own help pages and can change.

Questions
Is OneSol Send free?
Yes. Sending is free with a OneSol account, up to 5 GB per transfer. The people you send to don't need an account at all.
How long does the link work?
3 days from when the upload finishes. After that the files are deleted from our server and the link shows that the transfer has expired. You can delete a transfer sooner yourself.
How do I send a file that's too big for email or WhatsApp?
Upload it here instead of attaching it. You get one link for up to 20 files (5 GB in total); paste that link into the email or chat. The person opens it and downloads the files directly — nothing goes through their inbox.
How fast is it?
As fast as your connection allows. Files go up in as many as 12 pieces at once, which is what fills a far-away connection, and you see the live speed and time left while it uploads. Downloads come straight from our server.
Who can download my files?
Anyone who has the link. Links are long and random, so they can't be guessed — but treat one like the files themselves and only share it with the people they're for.
Why do I need an account to send?
A link that hands out any file from our domain is exactly what people spreading malware look for. Asking senders to sign in keeps the service usable for everyone else.
