Sell on Instagram without an Instagram shop

You don't need catalogue approval or a business verification to sell to your followers. You need a link and a reason to tap it.

The native shop features on social platforms are slow to set up, picky about what they'll approve, and often unavailable where you are. Waiting on them is a good way to not sell anything for a month.

You don't need them. Your followers already know how to tap a link. Everything else is just making sure the link goes somewhere that takes their money cleanly.

The whole setup

  • Put one link in your bio that leads to your page — not a scattered list, one doorway.
  • In posts and stories, point at it plainly: say what's behind the link and why to tap now.
  • Make the destination take payment on the spot, so an interested follower never has to leave to buy.

Own the audience while you're at it

The bonus of sending people to a page you control rather than a platform shop is that you can capture emails, see what converts, and keep the relationship even if your account gets restricted. A native shop gives you none of that.

Run all of this from one link.
