Your headline is doing 80% of the work on any page, because most people read it and decide in a second or two whether to keep going. Get it wrong and the best writing underneath never gets seen.
Lead with the one clear benefit
Forget clever wordplay. Say the single most useful thing the reader gets, in plain language. 'Get paid the day someone books you' beats 'Revolutionise your workflow' every time, because one is a promise and the other is noise.
Write ten, keep one
Good headlines come from volume, not inspiration. Write ten quick versions — you'll hate eight, and the ninth will usually be sharper than the first. It's five minutes well spent.
